Sara Giacomini
Artist Biography
Sara Giacomini is a contemporary landscape artist exploring what remains when unnecessary detail is stripped away. Inspired by places encountered on everyday walks, she works from photographs, sketches and fragments of observation, translating landscapes into bold shapes, clean lines and vibrant blocks of colour. Fields, paths, tree lines and skies are reduced to their essential forms, allowing colour, rhythm and structure to take centre stage. Moving away from photographic representation, Sara Giacomini is interested in capturing the atmosphere, memory and fleeting feeling of a place, creating landscapes that invite the viewer to pause and see the familiar differently.
